Rosemary D. (McGlone) Seibold was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 10, 1953. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help primary school in Maple Shade, NJ, 1959-1967; St. Mary of The Angels Academy in Haddonfield, NJ 1967-1971; and Catholic University in Washington, DC 1971-1975 where she earned a bachelor’s degree in religion and religious education. She later earned a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry at Boston College in 1998.
Rosemary met the love of her life, Michael, at Catholic University. They were married in 1975 in Maple Shade, NJ, and lived and worked in Washington until their move to Whitinsville, MA in 1979. Rosemary pursued a career in Accounting while volunteering for over twenty years directing Music Ministry at St. Patrick Parish in Whitinsville, MA and St. Mary Parish in Uxbridge, MA. After earning her degree in Pastoral Ministry, Rosemary worked as a Pastoral Associate for 8 years at St. Mary Parish, Uxbridge, MA and for 16 years at Our Lady Help of Christians in Newton, MA until her retirement in May 2020.
Rosemary played acoustic guitar and was well known for her sing-alongs with the local girl scouts, church, and school groups. Growing up, she enjoyed visits to the race track with her father and spending time down the Jersey shore with close friends. A master of detail, Rosemary spent many years in the accounting field working her way up to Accounting Manager at Howard Brothers – a Gessner Textile Manufacturing Company in Auburn, MA. “Eagle Eye” as her kids call her, put her attention to detail to its best use as the chief planner of numerous family trips to Europe, the National Parks and to her beloved Lake Tahoe. More than anything, she loved to travel with Mike, her 3 girls and their partners.
Rosemary is pre-deceased by her parents James J. and Eva R. (Boyle) McGlone, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her husband, Michael F. Seibold, sister Mary McGlone and three daughters; Christine R. Seibold and husband Wanderson de Souza of Seville, Spain, Rosemary J. Seibold Fasano and husband Ben R. Fasano of Uxbridge, MA and Kathleen E. Seibold of Whitinsville, MA. Rosemary was also a proud “grandpawent” to her beloved fur babies, Prince, Belle, Mr. Smee, Teddy, and Brady.
Throughout her life, Rosemary selflessly touched countless lives and helped thousands of families, women, children, and those in need. She generously supported many worthwhile charities including those that help with disaster relief, food insecurity, the health and safety of children, immigrants and the homeless and would urge everyone to support similar organizations. She and her husband Mike also provided couple-to-couple marriage preparation sessions in their home for over 25 years. She believed in uniting family together, supporting one another, and loving one another unconditionally. In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to donate to a charity of your choice.
