Marjorie Bevere (Butler)

1943 – 2026

 

Marjorie Bevere, a longtime resident of Billerica, MA, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the age of 83.

 

Born in Newton, MA, on January 8, 1943, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pitts) Butler. Marjorie was the devoted wife of the late Lawrence Bevere Sr., who predeceased her in 1991.

 

A dedicated mother and grandmother, Marjorie leaves behind her children: Lawrence Bevere Jr., Lisa (Bevere) Kelleher, and Shaun Bevere. She was the proud grandmother of Michael Bevere, Dillan Bevere, Morgan Jensen, Jake Jensen, Aidan Kelleher, Evan Bevere, and Elyse Bevere, and the cherished great-grandmother of Landen (Bresson) Bevere.

 

Marjorie was predeceased by her brothers, Ernest “Skippy” Butler, Roy Butler, and George Butler, and her sister, Grace E. (Butler) Murray. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Butler Jr., and her sister, Marylou (Butler) Leger.

Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown Street, Newton, MA 02458.  From 4-6:00 PM Thursday, March 26, 2026, and public ceremony at Newton Cemetery at 11:15 AM Friday, March 27, 2026.  Celebration of Life at 12 Noon at the American Legion Post 440, 295 California Street, Newton, 02458.
