Helen E. Mulligan, December, 1933 — October 2025

 

Helen, born in Cambridge, MA in 1933 graduated from Cambridge High and Latin and attended some college before becoming an administrator/buyer for Honeywell as well as an associate in the retail industry.

 

Some of the activities Helen enjoyed and participated in were gardening, crafts and art.

 

As the wife of a career Army service member, Helen regularly volunteered at the Fort Devens Army Hospital. Some of the many places she lived and traveled to were France, Washington D.C., Ayer, Watertown, Newton and Chelmsford. Post retirement she enjoyed her travels to Cancun, Aruba, Hawaii and Italy. She spent her remaining days in Roslindale at Hebrew Senior Life.

 

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Adeline Manzelli, her husband, Paul Mulligan, and her siblings, Carol Caracino, Anthony Manzelli and Vincent Manzelli and is survived by her children, Paul Macri, Wayne Macri, Pamela English and Jon Macri as well as her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

 

Helen’s private service was attended by her surviving family held on Wednesday, November 5 at Magni Funeral Home in Newton and is now interred at the Newton Cementary.
