Coletti, Carlene.jpg

Carlene Theresa (DeSimone) Coletti passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and devotion to her family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Joseph Coletti and the cherished daughter of the late Angela Marie (Mosca) DeSimone and Amodeo Nicholas DeSimone.

Carlene met the love of her life, Anthony, while they were both working at Raytheon, beginning a partnership filled with love, laughter and dedication to family.  Together they built a beautiful life and raised their three daughters Lisa, Toni and Jill. Carlene devoted many years as a stay-at-home mother creating a warm and loving home where family always came first.

She was a loving sister to Thomas DeSimone and Robert DeSimone. In addition to being a devoted mother and grandmother, Carlene was a hardworking and creative woman. She managed a distribution Center for 50 stores known as the Lodge and later owned her own small establishment, The Craft Basket, where she shared her creativity and love for handmade crafts.

Carlene found joy in life's simple pleasures. She raised dogs, loved horses, knitted and crocheted beautiful pieces for family and friends, and played the piano with grace and joy. She lovingly made clothes for her children and cherished every opportunity to care for those she loved. She loved to dance and brought warmth and light wherever she went.

Her family was the center of her world.  She never missed a game, recital or performance involving her grandchildren, always cheering them on with pride and unconditional love.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa Conley and her husband Ed, along with their children Andrew Conley and his wife Lauren, Meaghan Conley, Theresa Conley and Georgia McHugh and her husband Bill. Toni Soffayer and her husband Chris and Toni's daughters Danielle Eldridge and her husband Pete, Francesca Barsam and her husband Pete and Toni Manzon and her partner Hunter Fraser. As well as Jill Coletti and her two children Angela and Joseph.

Carlene also leaves behind her treasured great grandchildren Bo Eldridge, Wyatt Conley, and Lucas McHugh, who brought endless joy to her life.

A kind and beautiful woman, Carlene lived a simple life filled with love, family, friendship and generosity. She treasured the friendships she made at Kennedy Terrace, where she enjoyed hosting game nights, spending time with friends, and travelling.  Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carlene’s life was a reminder that the greatest joys come from family, friendship and love.  Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.  May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved Anthony.
