
It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Charles Parker announce his passing. Brian passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 3rd, 2026. He was 81. Brian was the son of the late Cecil J. Parker and Edith V. Bidgood, and leaves behind his beloved wife, Dot; his daughters Joanne and Ginette; and his grandchildren Kaiden, Kayla and Justin. He is also survived by his older sister Brenda, younger brother Derrick, and younger sisters, Heather and Hazel.
Brian grew up in London, England and spent most of his married life in the small village of Cookham in Berkshire. When he retired, he and his wife, Dot, moved to the USA to be closer to their two daughters and grandchildren who live there. They spent 14 wonderful years in Viera, FL, followed by 5 happy years in Newton, MA.
Above all else Brian was a family man who dedicated his life to his wife, daughters and grandchildren. His family was the most important thing in the world to him. He and his wife Dot, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 26th, 2026.
Brian was also an avid sportsman who played soccer, cricket, golf and tennis throughout his life. He also joined a ten-pin bowling league in his retirement. He loved music and enjoyed going to concerts of his favorite bands. In his professional life, Brian was a design engineer in the manufacturing industry where he designed machine tools to build many household appliances. He also enjoyed gardening and DIY.
Brian will always be remembered as a wonderful kind, caring and loving husband, dad and grandad. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
A private gathering of family and friends will be held to honor and remember Brian’s life.
