With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Antoinette “Ann” Marie (Dellicicchi) Calabro a lifelong resident of Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away peacefully on June 8 at the age of 86.

 

Daughter of the late Alfred and Giovannangela (Cotoia) Dellicicchi, and sister of the late Victoria Sampson, and Alfred Dellicicchi, Jr.. A lifelong resident of Newton, Antoinette was known for her kindness, strength and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert "Beep" Calabro, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and treasured memories. Together they built a family that became the pride and joy of her life. She leaves behind her loving daughters: Linda Barisano (Mark), Sandra Natale (Ed), and Lisa Smith (Jason). She was a devoted and proud grandmother of 6 to: Kevin and Allison Barisano, Brian Natale, Nicole Forsythe and Trevor and Jenna Smith. Great-grandmother of 3 to Nathan and Elena Natale and Lyla Forsythe.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear cousins.

 

Family was her greatest treasure. Whether celebrating holidays, sharing meals, simply spending time together, she created memories that will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love, where everyone was welcomed with open arms.

 

Funeral services will be held at Andrew J. Magni and Son Funeral Home on Thursday June 11, from 4-7pm followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady’s Help of Christians Church, Friday June 12 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Newton Athletes Unlimited, if desired.
