Winifred "Winnie" Denise (O'Connell) Connelly, Age 78, passed away peacefully, on June 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with multiple illnesses.

Born on May 24, 1948, Winnie lived a life centered on love, family, and devotion to those closest to her. On September 17, 1968, she married the love of her life, Larry Connelly, beginning a partnership that spanned nearly 58 years and was marked by unwavering commitment and shared memories.

Winnie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Connelly; her daughter, Laura Fein and son-in-law, Ed Fein of Woburn; her son, L.J. Connelly, and daughter-in-law, Eileen Connelly of Newton; and her cherished granddaughters, Alyssa Connelly and Sara Connelly. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow and thrive.

Winnie will be remembered for her strength, warmth, kindness, and the love she shared so generously with family and friends. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Though she is gone, the legacy of her love, dedication, and compassion will remain with her family forever.

A service will be held at Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home on June 12, 6pm, 365 Watertown St, Newton, with a reception to follow that night. Please no flowers.
