LOOKNER, Susan Dambrov, age 83, passed away May 24.

 

Beloved wife and best friend of 52 years to Spencer Lookner, and the daughter of the late George and Ruth Dambrov. Susan was a graduate of Boston University Accounting ‘63. Susan worked with Spencer in their real estate business, but the pursuit she valued more than any other was helping to raise her family and spending time with them. Many residents of Newton knew her from her frequent walks with her miniature schnauzer. Besides family activities and enjoying time with her friends (whom she highly cherished), she also loved the Red Sox and the Cape.

 

She was the best Mom to Samuel Lookner (wife Lauren), Stephen Lookner, and Saul Lookner (wife Christine), and proud grandmother of Amanda, Cheri, Mitchell, Zara, and Georgia. She also leaves her brother Robert Dambrov (wife Kim), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St., Newton. The funeral will be private. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the MSPCA (www.mspca.org).
