Soebagio (Tiong Lee) was born on February 1st, 1947 in Blitar, East Java, Indonesia, as the third of seven children born to Ong Tiang Bo and Andayani Mariani. He met the love of his life, Myra (Swan Hong), at 17 and they were married in Surabaya, East Java, on January 27, 1973.

Soebagio was a natural tinkerer and a lifelong lover of technology which, combined with his passion for learning, led him to study engineering at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). His work took him around the world giving him the opportunity to study at INSEAD in France. He and his wife Myra (Swan Hong) moved permanently to Boston/Cambridge to join their children in 1998. There, he enjoyed working at Harvard Business School and laughing with his coworkers.

Soebagio loved listening to the Beatles and the Bee Gees, walking by the ocean, making jokes, and spending time with his grandchildren. He dedicated himself to providing a great life for his family, always prioritizing his children and their education.

Soebagio is survived by his wife of 50 years, Myra (Swan Hong); his daughter, Tina Weber (Ong Kim Ay) and her spouse, Jeffrey Weber; his son, Edward Notosoehardjo (Ong Po Ay) and his spouse, Jennifer Suh; and his grandchildren: Jackson Weber, Sophia Weber, Erik Shin, and Lucas Noto. He joins his loving parents and 2 older brothers in heaven. He is greatly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
