Rose Forte of North Kingstown, RI passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, at the age of 99.

Rose was the daughter of the late Antonio and Vittoria (Totaro) Forte who lived in Newton, Massachusetts. She was the last survivor of six siblings and was predeceased by three brothers, Peter, John and Joseph and two sisters, Lucy (Forte) Paradiso, and Palma (Forte) Nies.
​
Rose was a loving aunt to Janice Dempsey, Ronald Forte, Sandi Sambuchi, Deborah Coady, Stephen Forte, Johnny Forte, Karen Munro, Brenda Boudreau, Richard Forte, Peter Forte, Thomas Forte, Andrea Jones, Nick Paradiso and Rob Paradiso. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and will be deeply missed by all.

Rose was an avid sports fan, knowledgeable about various sports teams and players, especially football, baseball and soccer. Rose was also a passionate and champion candlepin bowler, known for her skill and dedication to the sport. She brought joy to many through her love of entertaining family and friends, always creating warm and memorable gatherings.
​
Rose had a long career in manufacturing with Ucinite and later TRW, becoming a supervisor where she was respected for her hard work and leadership.

Friends and family are welcome to gather for a visitation in the Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Newton, MA on Friday January 10, 2024, from 9:30 – 10:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady’s Church, 573 Washington St, Newton, MA at 10:30 AM. At the conclusion of the Mass, interment and graveside prayers will be at Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut Street, Newton.
