BRADLEY, Mildred "Millie," a longtime Newtonville resident, passed peacefully Aug. 14, 2024 at the Waterview Lodge in Ashland. She was 92. Loving daughter of the late Francis E.and Mary (Mooney) Bradley and sister of the late John F. Bradley and his late wife, Mary. 

 

Beloved aunt of Kathleen DeForge of Norwood, Sandra Barr and her husband Bill of Texas, John F. Bradley Jr. and his wife, Elaine, of Framingham and Frank Bradley of Newton.

 

Millie is also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.

 

Millie graduated from Our Lady Help of Christians High School and worked for over 40 years as a dietary aide at Newton Wellesley Hospital.  Millie loved reading, music, going to the beach and the Boston Red Sox.   

 

Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Thursday, August 22, in the rear of Our Lady's Church, 573 Washington St, Newton at 9:30AM. A  Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30AM and her burial will be at Newton Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's name may be made to: The Alzheimer's Association, 320 Nevada St #201, Newton, MA 02460.

 

Millie's family would like to send their love and thanks to all the outstanding caregivers at Waterview Lodge in Ashland. The team members always treated Millie like she was a member of their family and Millie and her family could not have asked for better care! Your care and kindness will never be forgotten!
