Marie A. (Sbordone) Magni, longtime Newton resident, unexpectedly at age 71 on Nov. 8, 2023.

She was the beloved wife for over 43 years to the late John F. Magni and devoted mother of Gillian Marie, Kristin Marie and Stephanie Marie Magni, all of Newton.

​

Daughter of the late Anthony and Rita (McGrath) Sbordone.

​

Dear Sister of Alexander Sbordone and his wife Amy, Janice Tocci and Anthony Sbordone. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

​

Like her late husband, she was an avid Patriots fan and fervently followed the Red Sox as well. Marie loved to host friends and family at her home. For her, the more, the merrier. 

​

Visiting hours from 4-8pm in the funeral on Monday, Nov. 13 and again on Tuesday morning at 9:15am before proceeding to Our Lady's Church, 573 Washington St, Newton for a 10:30am Funeral Mass. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
