Kathleen Mary Callahan passed away on Monday October 16, 2023 in Ocala Florida. Beloved Daughter of William T. Callahan of Tewksbury MA and Mary Ellen (Woodard) Rush of Bozeman MT. Beloved mother of the late Birch Longfellow Crocker and beloved sister of Michael Callahan of Newton MA and Dennis Rush of Southbury CT. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

 

Born in Springfield, she grew up in Newton and graduated from Newton North in 1984. A longtime resident of Connecticut, she was an EMT in Litchfield CT for several years before transitioning to property management. Her hobbies included crafting tropical fish and birds. Her particular skillset in floristry allowed her the ability to create beautiful and delightful designs that reflected the beauty she saw in the natural world, which she wished to share with others.
