James G. Kuhn of Pembroke, NH, formerly of Newton, passed on March 9, 2023, age 74. Beloved husband of Kathleen "Kathy" (Sullivan) Kuhn.

Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Penny (Casella) Kuhn. He also leaves his aunt Sylvia McDonough of Newton and several cousins and nieces and nephews.

Jim had a quick wit and could light up a room with his humor and stories and laughter. He was a people person by nature and was well-suited to his line of work in sales for the construction industry. He retired in 2011 and enjoyed his time in Florida with his bride Kathy by his side. Some of his favorite spots were the golf course, the beach and Zoo Tampa.

When he was back in NH, he enjoyed trips to the White Mountains and also to the beach. No matter where he was, he avidly followed all of the Boston sports teams. The Bruins were his favorite. 

 

Visitation in the Magni FH, 365 Watertown St, NEWTON, on Friday, March 17 from 4-8pm and again Saturday morning at 9:15AM before proceeding to St. Bernard Parish, West Newton for a 10:30AM Funeral Mass. Burial to follow at Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated and may be made to: The American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA 02451 or to Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park, 1101 W Sligh Ave, Tampa, FL 33604
