Jack L. Ross Jr. “Larry” age 83, beloved father of Shannon (Ross) Lazzaro and Kathleen (Ross) Harlow and devoted grandfather “Papa” of Nicholas Lazzaro, Jackson Grenon, Grace Lazzaro and Peyton Grenon passed away at Mass General Hospital in Boston on Sunday, August 4th, 2024, surrounded by his girls and his grandchildren.

Born in Missouri on July 13th, 1941, he was a son of the late Jack L. Ross, Sr. and Nicoletta (Catanzaro) Ross.

Larry, as he was known to many, led a life of service first as proud veteran having served his country with honor and pride in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War followed by a lifelong career as a chemist and pharmacist. Above all he was a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great uncle, friend and Papa Larry to his extended grandchildren. He treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, and will truly be missed.

Relatives and friends are invited for a visitation at the Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, Newton on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12 noon to 1:30pm, immediately followed by a Prayer Service and Military Honors.

The family requests no flowers.
